| Q. |
What is a Financial Controller? |
| A. |
A Financial Controller is a title of a role in Australian Business, which usually refers to the senior Financial Officer “inside” a company. A company will generally use specialised services as they are needed but the financial controller’s job is to make sure the company is performing to its owners directions |
| Q. |
Is there a secret with successfully running a business? |
| A. |
No, we have found that the clearest difference with successful businesses and less successful ones, is the discipline shown by the owners. Discipline is learnt, and instilled when the business is formed and further as it grows with extra staff. The Owners abilities are magnified as the business grows, and without qualified support, most businesses fail to achieve their financial goals. |
| Q. |
My wife and I already are doing this within our business, why would we use you? |
| A. |
Well for starters, are you and your wife bringing the best of information, skills and experience to the business, or are you learning as you go? Most family businesses rely on the owner’s family to provide the sounding board for growth and strategic direction. This doesn’t have to change, it merely adds to the options for your business, with an experienced accountant, who wants your business to be as successful as possible can add further dimensions and the discipline of financial and strategic reviews that ensures you are focusing on the things that matter |
